Isabel Cruz Liljegren (SE) is one of Sweden’s most sought-after playwrights among the younger generation. She has written over 25 plays for theaters across Sweden and has been staged by Yle. Isabel also works as a dramaturg and director. Her works have been selected for festivals such as the bibu performing arts biennial for children and young people and have been described as thought-provoking, politically charged, and formally interesting. Isabel directed Friend(re)quest, which Blaue Frau produced in collaboration with Svenska Yle 2018.

Johan Isaksson (SE) has worked as Blaue Frau’s graphic designer and illustrator since 2011.

Joel Forsbacka (FIN) is an actor, musician, radio personality, and educator based in Helsinki. He is a member of the performing arts collective Glitcher and has also appeared in Svenska Yle’s comedy series Halln and on the stages of Wasa Teater and Svenska Teatern. Blaue Frau anställer marks Joel’s first collaboration with Blaue Frau.

Vega Adsten (SE) is an actor, performer, and trans activist based in Helsinki. In her artistic practice, she often explores queer, political, and feminist themes. Vega is known for her appearances on Svenska Yle’s culture podcast Sällskapet and for her role as Romeo in Åbo Svenska Teater’s production Romeo & Juliet. Together with Bella Paasimäki, she founded and runs the independent performing arts group Teater Klunk. Vega has previously worked with Blaue Frau on Blaue Frau ℅ Svenska Teatern 2023, Still Looking for Rick 2025, and &SON: Samtal om nedskärningar 2025.

Josefin Hinders (SE) works as an artist, costume designer, set designer, and lighting designer in theater, dance, and music. She has directed music videos, composed the music for the film Something Must Break, and written the book Fula Edith: One Day We Grew Up. Josefin has collaborated with artists such as The Knife, Rebecca & Fiona, Helena Sandström Cruz, Fever Ray, Nasim Aghili & Konstgruppen Ful, Eleanor Bauer, and Yung Lean. Josefin has worked as a visualist for Blaue Frau in the performances This Is Not My Money (in collaboration with Subfrau) 2022 and Blaue Frau ℅ Svenska Teatern 2023.

Vili Pääkkö (alias Vili Aarre) (FIN) is a Helsinki-based artist whose main medium is sound. Vili makes music, sound and sound designs mainly for contemporary performing arts, fine arts and music. Vili’s work has been audible at places such as Yle, The Finnish National Theatre, Teater Viirus and La Mercerie. The core of Vili’s practice is synesthetic experience, understanding sound as culture and relating to sound as an object and a dramaturgical operative. Vili has previously worked with Blaue Frau in the performance Stay Hydrated 2026.

Jere Vilo (FIN) is a clothing and textile designer. In his work, he has explored, among other things, how the working class has inspired fashion and how his own working-class background has shaped his identity as a designer. The inspiration for Jere’s work often comes from nostalgic and everyday, unassuming yet interesting elements. Jere has worked as a costume designer for Blaue Frau on the productions INBJUDAN 2023, BFCK 2024, and &SON 2025.

Nina Vuori (FIN) is a makeup artist and cosmetologist. She has worked on television and theater productions as well as commercial photo shoots. Nina has worked on projects including opera and television productions; she served as lead makeup artist on Yle’s series Planet Enkel 2025. She has also worked on TV productions such as Rantabaari (2022) and the Sibelius Academy’s Cosi Fan Tutte (2020). These days, Nina primarily does makeup for private clients for various parties, weddings, and photo shoots. Creative makeup and competitions are also part of her work; in 2025, she won silver at the WBF Creative Makeup competition. Nina has been working with Blaue Frau since 2021.

Emma Reijonen (FIN) is a Helsinki-based theater producer. She also works as a photographer and choir producer. She has been working as a production assistant for Blaue Frau since 2023.
