Svenska Teatern<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Svenska Teatern (the Swedish Theatre) in Helsinki is a Finnish national theatre performing in Swedish \u2013 Finland\u2019s second official language. Most of our performances are surtitled into Finnish, Swedish, and occasionally also into English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The theatre is located right in the heart of Helsinki. Three different stages offer theatre for all tastes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u200bSvenska Teatern offers a broad repertoire of both domestic and international plays that caters to everyone – from classics to newly written and from big musicals to children\u2019s plays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Svenska Teatern produces several productions each year. In addition, the repertoire consists of special guest performances and co-productions with other theatres and groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Svenska Teatern is committed to audience engagement and outreach, offering a broad range of events in addition to the theatre repertoire. These include play introductions; discussions; workshops; activities for children; and guided tours of the theatre. Guided tours can be booked for groups of 5 to 25 persons. Boys Won\u2019t Be Boys is a Dutch theatrical and social movement in the field of male emancipation. We are an ever-growing platform with an inexhaustible source of innovative theatrical perspectives around the changing role men have in our time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
